The Inland Lakes Railway is proud to announce the return of steam power
to Central Florida on the Flagg Coal Express.
Come and join us as we relive the days when steam ruled the rails
and locomotives were called "iron horses". Coal fired steam locomotive
# 75 will pull our trains on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during our
Festival Of Steam in Mount Dora. Four times a day, journey on a six mile
round trip from our station in Mount Dora along the shores of Lake Dora
and Old Highway 441. Feel the excitement of a steam engine as it puffs,
smokes and chugs along the tracks.
Tickets are on sale now. Trains will depart from
our Mount Dora Depot at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Departures
are currently planed for
March 14, 15, & 16.
All train rides are only $16.00. Come out, relive the history of
railroading and get some real coal cinders in your hair at this must-see
event. Seating is limited, so make
your reservations now.

Smoking is not permitted on any ILRW train.
